Hessian (burlap) is a durable, eco-friendly fabric made from natural jute fibres, valued for its strength, breathability and versatility across applications.

At Ambica, we manufacture hessian fabrics ranging from 100 GSM to 730 GSM and our hessian being fully MOSH/MOAH compliant. It is suitable for packaging materials, horticultural uses and finer applications such as upholstery, curtains and shopping bags. Our production on advanced looms ensures consistent quality, with full customisation available in width, weight and weave.

We also offer dyed and finished fabrics, supported by in-house colour matching capabilities.

All our fabrics are processed using GOTS-approved chemicals, and our chemical treatments comply with ZDHC Level 3 standards, supporting a zero-discharge policy for effluents into soil and water.
